Finally! Mission acomplished
I first bought my kayak in January and had near zero experience saltwater fishing. Today was only my second day taking the kayak out due to the string of cold weather. I launched at BayPines VA park and a couple hours later i completed a slam! (Snook, Redfish, trout,) This forum was a big help with everything from lure choice to places to fish. I am truly ADDICTED now.

Nice! My first time kayak fishing I had pretty much the same experience fishing (zero) and I only caught two reds but one was 24 inches and the other was 26 inches! That, right there, got me addicted also. I bought a kayak as soon as I had the money and I've been going strong ever since!
