Thank you to Rik, Todd and Mark and all of you guys who make this all possible by showing up for these events. Thank you to Dave H. and Terry B. for getting me intrested in these tournaments and for the coaching over the past 2 years. Thanks to you too John W. It looks like some stuff may be sinking in now.
I guess I should probably tell everyone that not only was this my first time winning something, it was the first time I had even caught anything worth turning in! So you can imagine how special that day was for me. Being new at this game is tough and I realized Saturday how hard you have to work at it if you want to win. I look forward to fishing in more of these events and hopefully winning alot more too! First place would be nice next time!

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
Re: PFTS #1 Final Results-Updated with pics.
Big Up's to the winners and all who participated.. A crisis developed late Friday and I had to travel to Ft. Lauderdale Fri. evening and work all day Sat. My rigged and ready rods stood idle in my absence. I would be interested to know what lures the winners were using.
Re: PFTS #1 Final Results-Updated with pics.
Congratulations to all the winners. With a short window of opportunity and only two rods and lures, you all showed us who the real fishermen were <g>.
And even though I continue with my streak of zero fish (except for a very small trout in last year's North TB event), these tournaments are still FUN, FUN, FUN! Thank you Rik, Todd, Sponsors and Supporters who make these events and pic-n-sips entertaining and different each time.

Congrats to the winners.
From what I heard, the gamble on soft plastics paid off and who would have known that paddle-less paddle-tails still catch quality fish.
I had a great time and glad I made the venture.
C-ya at the next one

Congrats to all the winners. Thanks Todd and Rik for another great event.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.
