I thought you could catch fish in a muddy pothole?

Tex,
Good seeing you yesterday evening and yes you got all the tarpon. Played around in the incoming till 930ish and bugs won. As you called for more and I am a glutton I got to Flamingo at 7am and out by 10am today. Got a HUGE blow up early but the way it cut me off was a large shark. Worked a small area as I did not want to battle tide AND wind.

Invoke my friend Stubb's rule about the redfish I was hunting this morning "The fish always are where they never was."

Heading back to the Cut in an hour despite winds so maybe something hopeful to report.

As far as posting I followed "how to" post pic steps some time ago and then stopped as I do not care to sit and do stuff that requires me sitting!

Will attempt to posts "catches" so you know I really do catch fish on occasion.

Cordell can you repo the dreads from the fly shop? Only couple left and I am using them sparingly.

Yep if Cordell is the bonefish whispererer you are now anointed the tarpon tamer.

Swear those things are your pets. Only a big jack attack that took one of the baits you gave me yesterday. Yep, I should have got some more of those big ones at Gordon's but all should know recycling frozen bait is no good. The other thing is they had their nose buried in that slurry they throw out. Fresh cut bait would have been the ticket.

What you have done is reminded me exactly what I did some years ago when I moved here but you actually landed those dudes as to where I just jumped em over and over.

"Flamingo" I don't feel half bad about that trip as today's outdoor fishing report quoted a captain saying "there were no tarpon, reds, seatrout or snook to be found in Flamingo, but plenty of jacks, lady fish and sharks".

Taking tomorrow off (ok will walk the beach with the fly rod) to catch up with home stuff.

See ya somewhere Sunday.

Alright Tex - I'm here. Where's the beer?
