Largemouth Bass are biting

Post by bluebill »

The bass have started cooperating again in Cape Coral now that the water has finally warmed up.

A few up to 4 or 5 pounds and lots of smaller ones - all on plastic worms so far - none on a spinnerbait or jig and tube yet - a few smaller ones on flies

Too windy here on Pine island all of last week to fish Pine Island Sound or Matlacha Pass in the kayak. Got out one afternoon and it was a beater but caught 4 trout and 1 bluefish.

Anyone else fishing for largemouths?
