Changes made to My Pelican

Post by impress »

I was out at Ft.Desoto yesterday. I had the best time. I caught a redfish was 30'' TL...of course I had to release.. It was a great experience reeling that in to the kayak and great fight.

I made changes to my kayak since last post so I wanted to share with you.

Nice big umbrella. I like how it matches your LHDB.

Chuck (Teamshaft1) had his boats rigged like that for a while but found they rusted too quickly

so he bought these:

I agree it may rust but this one is plastic frame and sold at walmart for $4.83 made by ozark trail and has goose neck attachment so you can change the position.
I like second set of hobie sunbrellas those r tight.
My next boat will be hobie or wilderness...
