Isn't It about time to plan a paddle in / camping trip?

Post by Redboner »

It won't be long and the weather will be cooling off enough to make tent camping more enjoyable. There are also a lot of new members who have never experienced a paddle in.
There must be someplace that will accomodate a group of drunken heathens and their questionable behavior. Someplace with enough firewood to keep Uncle Tommy busy for at least one night. I know I personally need to repay Johnster quite a few cold Stella's (at a minimum). Be nice to see some of those guys I met at the only paddle in I ever attended.
If there is enough interest I will be happy to start looking for a suitable venue and making arrangements (with guidance from the original paddle in gurus).

I would be interested in that. I've been thinking about a camping trip w/kayak for a while. I used to do a lot of canoe-camping with my kids when they were little.

Sounds like a plan, let me know when you've found somewhere!

My tent has been locked up in the closet for too long..... it needs a trip.

If you pick a date when I'm free, I hope to be able to join you. (That is if there is at least one other female along. )

If there are plans that require 2 or more females it may well be worth the price of admission.

I often see people camping on the big island at Perico. Not a whole lot of space though.
