Drove down with my neighbor and his son to show them around Flamingo.
They showed me a new way to fish. Cut mullet, cast and let it sit while working another rod and catch fish.
Simple and effective and good way to fish the falling tide on a hot day.
I was happy for him as it was his first red from his Redfish 14.

I was stubborn and stuck with topwater. Had some good snook blow ups but no hook set. Lady fish for me and snapper for his son.
They also stopped at Roberts for shakes. I have passed this place a hundred times and never stopped. Some times guess you gotta slow things down.
