Just aquired a killer 12wt for the season this year. What are the favorite (most successful) flies?

Thanks Noles! Looking forward to the season! What do you switch to after sun up? Also, do you have a source for a couple of samples to copy from? I have a limited amount of materials and some very limited skill. I tie some ugly flies, but they usually catch fish. Thanks again!

Big brown cockroach did it for me. The second time I've had this conversation today. Must be that time.

Getting the fever I think. I've been wanting to long wand one all my life, now I have the chance. Hopefully the fish will accomodate.
Thanks for the tip Noles, have some toads on the way.

Those look great. Now all you need is someone to teach you how to throw them.

screw that. I've come to grips with my failure to produce at 60' cast today soley on two phrases that were uttered by each of you:
"You really didn't have any good shots today".
"If you need to rest your nuts on my neck to cast, go ahead".
plus you two have to admit, that fly would have been the powerball number. if i could cast fer shit

I would think a couple of those would be sufficient compensation for a certain boat ride a couple of Januaries ago.
