Ultralights

Post by LivelyBaits »

Noles handed me my two newest rods. I just put the reels on them and I'm looking forward to trying them out.

He built them a lot like the Cape Fear ultralight I've had the last 8 years but with a little more backbone to them.

I've got a Stradic 1000 on one and a 2000 on the other.

I also got a sneak peak at no time Bob's new rod. Gorgeous.

Thanks Phinla.

Those whiting are in for some serious trouble this winter. I saw those on the board. They are very nice.
I have trouble acting normal.

I took one of them out last week, with a Stradic 1000 on it and cast to some trout. It's got great ultralight action but a lot more backbone than the Cape Fear ultralight that Noles just about matched as far as size and "look."
