Maine cabins??
Does anyone here have any experience with lakeside cabins in Maine? Looking for big smallmouth and privacy.

I went to school in Orono. Just a very poor student but my buddy and I did fish the smallmouths way "down east" not far from our Forestry summer camp.
Check out the area from Calais to Eastport. You should be able to find some cabins there and canoe rentals etc. Ask about the "flowages", vast swampy areas to the east that have lots of bass and pike. Be prepared for mosquitos in the evening.
If I were going, i would be drawn to the rocky coast and the striper fishing.
