Saw that posted on FS earlier today, seen the knot somewhere else just don't remember where, looks not so easy to tie especially in the wind.

Tried to watch that video, wondering what happens when the hands disappear form the screen, must be magic.

Eight minutes is way too much time to spend tying a knot.

He said he was tightening the half hitches with his teeth when his hands disappeared from the screen. Any way, I'll stick to the uni-uni knot. That don't get caught in my guides either, and it hasn't failed me yet, and it don't take 8 minutes to tie either.

I'm sure he took 8 minutes so viewers could keep up.

There are video's out there on how to tie a Slim Beauty...these are good still pictures of the knot http://www.anglers-outlet.com/slim_beauty_knot.htm

I know that, but that knot sure does look like a pain to tie :? I've been tying the uni-uni for about a year and I've never had issues so I'm going to continue with that knot.

The best thing about the Slim Beauty to me is it holds up a long time going thru the guides. My Baitcaster Tip Top is itty bitty and it's hell on knots. I flung a few lures into the wild blue yonder before I learned of the Slim Beauty.

That is a cool azz knot. Definately my new go to knot on my Butterfly Jigging rod. Will be great for wire as well.
