Exude,Exude, Exude, I keep trying the rest, think I'll stay with the best. No I am not sponsored by Exude. This time of year, love that baby bass.

1) Zoom Super Flukes (pearl, baby bass, red/silver, black/gold) with a red daiichi 2/0 fat gap worm hook; with or without a bullet weight

2) Exudes (paddlefisher sold me)

3) Mirrorlure She-Dog; i've had the same one for 5 years and it keeps catching fish!!! knock on wood! (at one time it was chartreuse back, silver belly, but most of the paint is gone)

4) Enrico Puglisi Flies (Chartreuse and white peanut bunker for anything that swims)

5) No-Name Purple and Black Tarpon Fly (i tie this using the puglisi fibers and boy oh boy do the beach tarpon love it)

I hate gold spoons, or maybe they just hate me...i don't know.

Alot of DOA shrimp haters on here, lol. I dont like them unless they are under a cajun thunder popping cork tho, its deadly when you use it for trout. Its my go to confidence bait when I just cant get anything to bite.

Too slow for me and I've caught enough trout to never want to deal with them ever again.

I know some slay the summer snook on them though.

Myself it depends on what I am fishing after. I think some work better for some fish than others. But some can hook most all.

I actually like cranks, something that mimmicks the local bait. If its a floater I can use it topwater too. Also when cranked a strike usually gets a hookset.

I also like the exudes, have yet to catch a decent snook on one, but lots of reds and trout.

Topwater -spooks, & hula poppers. Yes hula poppers, used to catch lots of bass on them so I tried them in salt. Snook nail the crap out of them when the bites on. Also just started trying a new Yozuri magnetic topwater popper. Cast like a dream, & has produced a few snook so far.

I don't care for spinnerbaits, & hate gulps! DOA's also, get a medium rating from me even know they do work. Just to expensive for what you get in my book.
