After uses the Terroreyz in the OLC
I thought that I would never use it again, but alot of anglers caught fish that day....so how do you use it
In The OLC I was probably fshing in too shallow of water (knee deep) the Terroreyz seem too heavy. we saw plenty of fish and I feel that we would have caught more fish with a different lure
i caught my trout in a deeper cut 5-7' of water
josh caught a 23" redfish in shallow water
what I did not like about the terroreyz, besides the weight is you have to re-tie if you replace a tail

I was surprised with how well the terror-eyez produced for me and will definitely use it again in the right situations in the future... then again I'm still not sure what I would consider the "right situation" for using one.

I would say it would work well in deeper water with a fast retrieve. It would probably be a killer for spanish mackerall or deep water passes. Definately not the conditions for the past OLC. Now that I have about 12 of the suckers, I'd better find the right conditions.

A guy I work with is showing me picks everyday of snook he's catching in the tiny terroreyz/rootbeer. I didn't fish the tournament, but I'll definitely give these little guys a toss when I get a chance ...

I've had the terroreyz in my box for a while but the last OLC was the first I ever gave it a fair try mainly because I wasnt sure how to work it. After trying it I would use it again but like all else have been saying, in depper water than where I was. Does seem like it is an effective bait though.

I was thinking that I wouldn't use it again for a while. However, I was fishing with a local in Flamingo on Friday and he was describing an artificial lure he said would be great for the spot we were fishing. I said, "you mean a stupid TerrorEyz?" And he said, "yes, that's it." I just happened to still have a couple so I tossed one out and caught a lizard fish.

Funny thing happened today while I was fishing, hadn't used my terror-eyez since but we were fishing deep water adjacent a steep drop off (much like where I was fishing during the OLC), so I figured what the heck.. why not. I tied one on and proceeded to catch trout on every cast.
Maybe it really can catch fish after all...

I've used TerrorEyz for years and it is a great bait but it does have it's specific uses. It is best used in deeper water. I also don't care for the fact that you have to cut the line to change the body but as long as you aren't fishing for puffers, it doesn't have to be changed all that often. I'm going out Wednesday morning and it just so happens the area I am heading is perfect for the TerrorEyz. I'll let ya know how I do.
