I hate weather forcasters 2 mph out of the north....then why is that 10x12 flag straight out from the pole.....nada.......I see that Yohan and I have both have 10 demerits for what I have no idea but my question is what do I win if I beat him to 100? the wee poon contest has nothing on the most demerits contest......

I always thought that ten demerits got you a detention. Must be that old time Catholic school thing. The wind was perfect today for drifting down the NMZ and watching 45# redfish not eat anything you threw at them. I wish I had some cut bait.

Wind keeps you guys home? Nancies.

Far to the south, it was pretty good around sunrise. Lots of bait, jacks blitzing, white water and mullet skipping for their lives where ever you looked. After a few jacks to the boat, they were a nuisance. Had one big hit that dumped the reel for five seconds, way faster than the jacks, then let go the plug without a hint as to its identity. All told, there were six jacks, a few trout, and nada on snook and reds. Once the sun was up, it was done, and man, it got hot. It sure doesn't feel like nearly November out there.

I was thinking the same when it was 80 out before sunrise. I did manage to score a slot red and a 28"+ lady that swallowed the entire super spook jr.
