It's not a matter of her LETTING you do it...it's a matter of her GETTING USED TO IT!

My wife was none too happy about it at first, but when I pointed out the obvious fact that I don't tell her what dress, shoes, handbag, make-up, or hair style to wear...and the fact that I liked it, well...she got used to it.

I never got any compliments on the horseshoe look and society as a whole pretty much rejected the whole comb-over thing, so there you go.
