Hello from Bartow
My name is Patrick, I am originally from Sarasota, but live in Bartow now for work. I am new to kayak fishing. The closest kayak launch is Cockroach Bay, that is where I go. I want to learn how to catch fish. I mostly land catfish and pufferfish, drives me crazy., didn't mean to make this sound therapy session.

Welcome. You are lucky to have a great launch near by. Keep reading posts here and it will help you figure out how to catch the fish you are looking for.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Is anyone going to be at Cockroach this weekend I would like to go fishing with ya? Do you think the fishing will be any good? I didn't think storm brought too much rain? Let me know your thoughts?
