New to Saltwater.

Post by greg.hoog »

Hi everyone! I have been a member for a few months now, but this is my first post. I have gotten some good information off of this forum and thank you all for that. I moved to the Tampa Bay area about a year ago and I had never been saltwater fishing until then. Believe me, it was very good to get some information from the local pros on this site after a full day of sitting on the water stubbornly using my engrained freshwater techniques without any luck  I am working in Afghanistan right now, but I cannot wait to get back to the Tampa Bay area and hopefully participate in some of the fishing competitions this summer and fall!!

Cheers!

Your freshwater techniques will play well into saltwater, they are very similar in many respects. Keep at it.
