West coaster needs assistance...

Post by Tide1on »

HELP!!!
SilverK, foofisher and myself will be in Port Saint Lucie the 17th & 18th. We are bringing along our kayaks to try some "East Coast fishing"!
There's only one problem... we have no idea of any launch sites in the area. The Inter-coastal is where we're hoping to fish, not asking for anyones secret spot, just a few different launch sites on the inside would be greatly appreciated. I tried Google earth for Parks in the area, wasn't much help for me.

Anybody???

Lost "Left Coaster" and I'm not even there yet!

There are lots of places to launch on A1A between St. Lucie inlet & Ft. Pierce inlet. Bear Point, Mud Creek, and a couple places where you can just pull over and launch the boat. North of Ft. Pierce inlet, you can launch at the boat ramp and paddle north to the Pepper Key area. You can also launch at Sandsprit Park in Stuart and fish the docks at the mouth of the St. Lucie river.

All of Rev's suggestions are great choices. Give me a call if you'd like and I'll give you more specific info.
