Jax fishing

Sometime within the next 3-4 weeks I am going to head up to Jax to do some kayak fishing with a little lady. Soooooo, I'm looking for a place that can provide some nice fishing, don't have to worry about tides too much because I have to work around her schedule not a tidal chart, and is kayak fishable for newbies (not too far from the launch!) Any advice with be greatly appreciated!
