Finally got back to fishing!!!! Camped and fished this weekend at Mosquito Lagoon. The weather was supposed to be yucky but all day Sat and Sunday, we only got 10 minutes of rain. Lots of wind but it kept the bugs away except at the campsite which was surrounded by vegetation. The seclusion was nice but we ended up sitting by our kayaks at the water to eat and enjoy the breeze. Got on to some trout but no reds
. What a gorgeous area. Saw lots of dolphins and the owls serenaded us awake in the morning. We got hot about 3 am Sat night and got up and went paddling. The moon was almost full so we didn't even need our headlights. Life is so great!
Anyone going out fishing this weekend near Cocoa Beach?
