East coast help!

I am fishing a tournament (Youth Ranch fundraiser with Roger/snook 712) next month. The tournament is held at the Riverside park in New Smyrna.
We will be fishing in my boat (Yes, an actual boat as I do own one and have not used it in 2 yrs!)
I have no idea where to begin to fish nearby the tournament location.
Any help as far as where to launch, fishing grounds, and hotel info will be greatly appreciated.

night swan b&b has a dock and a few hundred yards from the park. If not launch at the high school ramp. There are a lot of lil motels, but you would just have to google earth them and give them a call. I have heard good things from night swan. There is also riverside hotel, with nice docks but $$$

Tom, can you e-mail me some info.
We will be down and pre-fishing on 9/21 and fishing the tournament on 9/22. We are going to stay an extra day and fish on Sunday 9/23 as well.
We will also bring the kayaks.
Let's get together and fish or I will just fish your secret spot that Andrew took me to!

Where's Andrew anyway? Haven't seen him post in awhile.
So, what east coast boys want to fish while we're invading?
C'mon Rev don't hold out or I'll throw food pellets in the rainbow trout pond while you're fishing.

Still around, but if you not catchin', then you're not postin' ....

I can't give you much info up NewSmyrna way, 'specially if fishing from a boat. Very, very shallow areas -- might be up a bit since we finally had some rains -- so alot depends on what your boat drafts. Much more tidal than where you and I fished a while back.

Too bad -- if you came a bit further south, Monkey and I found a new area this weekend holding some GATOR trout and big reds .......

Andrew, I will have my boat for the tourney but, we will also bring the kayaks. We will be in town 9/20 evening, pre-fish tourney 9/21, tournament 9/22, and paddle-fish 9/23.
Let's get some fish on Sunday 9/23!
