Met up with Monkey this Friday for a check for some baby 'poons .... while we found 'em and had a good day catching, there was a "equipment malfunction" for Monkey.
Seems he brought two "right-hand" portions of a paddle, which made for some awkward and slow paddling into those brisk winds. It's just too bad we weren't heading into the NMZ from the barge Canal -- he might still be there trying to get home ...
You'd think a guy with all the time in the world on his hands could manage to get a right and a left half of a paddle together before a fishing trip. It's not like he had to work late ...... <ouch!>
Rik/Mud, he needs an award ..........

Guilty as charged your honor-
I did the same thing to a newbie kayaker. It was quite comical watching try and put them together for about 5 minutes though. MarkM saved the day with a spare in the depth of his truck.
No worries Monkey, you are in good company.
