I am having too much fun doing vintage flyfishing for bass with flies like this:

..with a pork rind trailer, of course.

I know what your thinking...Go ahead, take my name off the Orvis mailing list. They won't me make an 8ft 9wt fiberglass rod anyhow.

Is that a Ladyfish Chunk? It is hard to find those in most fly shops. You been going to Orlando Outfitters? I hear they sell a lot of those over there.

<Sigh> BC, soon you'll be tellin' me you're into handlining, and those beautiful sage rods of yours will be gathering dust in a corner ...

Come on over and visit, my friend -- methinks you've forgotten how hard a saltwater fish can pull ... got some new spots to show ya ..... :)

AP, the man has prime fishing water as a backyard and with the price of gas, the number of jagoff stinkpots in the goon...can you blame him?
I say we all just show up at his house one day, park in his grass, have a picnic and fish his backyard unanounced. I don't think he'll shoot all of us! lol
He might shoot mudfoot a couple of times. That will give the rest of us time to run.

Hmmm ... it is about time he hosted a little "paddle-in slash cookout" at his place ..... right, BC? And I always like seeing what new bugs he's beein tying' ....

But he still needs a little salt water to splash on his kayak now and again, that's all I'm sayin' .....

<bc -- you'll tell me when you don't want those sages anymore, 'k?>

Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley
