Flyin' Frogs...

Post by S.S.Tupperware »

Hit up a few ponds tonight for some frog legs... I tie a small fly in white kinda looks like a maggot or wax worm. Tie to a cane pole, find a frog with your light and lower into his face and they can't resist...

Found a pond in Longwood that was loaded with huge bullfrogs, some went probally 3 lbs, the tadpoles were 4-5 inches long, gonna go back to that one, but there super spooky, might have to try waiting them out, need to go out tommorow for a few more and time for the hot grease.

How do you clean frogs?

I was impressed, that the older I got, the more patient I became. Turns out, I just don't give a shit.

gotta work on the light situation, as far as cleaning, cut a slit around the waist, and peel the skin like takin a pair of pants off, really easy. It only takes 30 seconds or so apiece...
