Orlando/Lake Buena Vista

Post by ChrisR »

I will be in Orlando for a wedding this weekend and will have some time on Sat for.....well....hopefully fishing. I won't have anywhere to store a Kayak, so I won't be bringing it. Can anyone recommend a park/lake/fish camp within 30-45 mins from the Disney area where I can fish from shore, or rent a canoe/ kayak? Thanks.

A fishing pier lets you test your angling skills against largemouth bass and other species. If you prefer to fish from a boat, you can rent one for $15.00. Thursday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Call (407) 299-1248 to make a reservation.

Or you could get in touch with AndrewP and see if he'll put you in touch with the Urban Angler.
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

I thought about it, still considering it. Problem is.....If i get into fish in saltwater, there is a decent chance that I will be late for/miss the wedding. I have no problem walking away from feeding bass.
