Bass finatic

Post by finatic »

In between redfish trips I have been using redfish sightcasting techniques and applying them to the canal behind my house and the lake at one of the programs I work at. The bass are in shallow clear water on/off beds waiting for the right temperature to do their thing. Most fish are hungry and hanging out near the beds in the shallows looking for the right presented bait. I watched this fish sitting on the outside of a bed and grabbed my light redfish rod rigged with a gold dart and made one cast...

The bass fishin' has been fun and especially sight casting them!
Currently I am working on some bass finatic designs so look for those coming soon. My nephew actively fishes the junior bassmaster tournaments so I will be helping him out with a sponsorship and display the new bass finatic gear!

Nice, I was doing the same thing in a local neighborhood's ponds the other day, saw lots of nice size bedded bass that had no problem engulfing my offerings.

Nice.
With the time change, I will have more daylight prior to work and am going to start trying topwater in the calm morning light.
I'll let you know how it goes.
