got snook 1st (second cast of the day) then a couple of Tarpon, all on the same EP minnow veriant, feeling pretty good now and the tide on the flats is in full flow lets try for a slam. switch fly for small shrimp pattern, then wait and wait,here comes a school of moving fish, lead by 15' wait then slow strip, bang pickup!! get line clear and onto reel, drag singing nicley then nothing.!! . inspect line etc all good ?? stay another hour plus until way past sunset no takers, oh well still a good afternoon, now to run the gauntlet of the sandflies back to the truck and wend my way through all these mosquito control canals back to civilisation. there will be other days.
