Bushy Park again

Post by nikonjedi »

Went back out to the new creek and threw my fly rod at some schoolin reds... they don't like my flies... but they DID love the Mud Minnows I threw at them. All were around 15-18" and fought like they thought they were 40" Great time. I am loving the winter eds season... the trout were a little tight lipped but I was out of MM before I targeted them and I don't think I was getting the fly down enough...

Nice report. I found a lot of big reds around the mouth of Broad Creek if you ever get down there.

I got a super secret spot up here for reds... We call it Redfishville ( see home page for article, story and pix) I just haven't been able to get to it since I was on an alert team but that all changed this weekend... Done with alert and back to fishin!!
