Tarpon on the Forgotten Coast

Post by Talltails »

Summertime brings the tarpon to the Forgotten coast. We've been seeing lots of nice fish up here in the panhandle. Last weekend we had several nice hookups, and I let this beauty pull me around for a while until I could safely release her. Should be lots more of this for the next month or so. I'll be down in the Tampa area next weekend visiting some friends. Hope to get on some snook while I'm there.....

Congratulations. Can't wait for those silver beauties to come visit us down here in May and June.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley
