Panama City Fishing?

Post by BStephens »

Is anyone fishing around Panama City? Were getting out a few days a week early in the morning, mostly fishing the Burnt Mill Creek Area, been doing okay w/trout and reds.
Thanks,

This board could use a good Panama City trip. I doubt the strip clubs would have any qualms with us bringing our paddles in.

Are Spinnakers and La Vela still in business?

I'll be up there in August for a week to ten days.

What days are you going to be here? Maybe you can arrange it where you can fish the Grand Lagoon National Tournament.

Is that dependant on weather or the Panhandle's supply of Tito's?

Good thought. I'll bring along Tito just in case he isn't a Panhandle guy.

Ahhh, excellent that Spinnakers and La Vela will both still on my agenda. I used to also go to Pineapple Willie's (Old Pier "99"). I used to get a frozen drink there that was served in a pot. I got drunker than Cooter Brown on those things.

BStephens, I'll figure it out as it gets closer. If it happens to line up, I'll attend your festivities (and offer up some 12 Fathom lures for your prize/raffle materials) but I don't fish tournaments.
