Palma Sola

Post by crookedsnook »

Hit Palma Sola Bay yesterday/friday morning for a coupla hours until the wind got up. Started on the incoming & got a few trout & ladies on 1/4oz jigs with DOA cal bodies in white. They were on the boat channel edges. Hooked 2 good ones that actually pulled drag, no head shakes, but they will remain anonymous as they were released early due to pinched barbs. Not bad for the first outing for this snobird this season.
let's try over there

Did you see any signs of red tide impact up there? I usually fish Buttonwood and on Friday you could definitely tell that red tide had gotten into the bay.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

I did not see any direct evidence of red tide.
