Hot reds

Post by nemo327 »

Surrounded by 30 inch tailing reds. They would not bite any lure I tossed finally cut pin fish caused one to bite. Two hours no bites tails everywhere = major frustration. Conditions were low tide early morning they were in 18 in of water and tailing. I have no idea what they were eating. A local guide told me that when the water is hot reds wont chase only eat grass shrimp and small things that cant escape. I can hardly wait to try them again with cut mullet this time.
