Does anyone have common boating courtesy

Post by SteveN »

I was a mile out in my yak today trying to hookup with some kings and about every 15 minutes some asshole would run over my lines, or come within 15 feet of me or my lines at full speed in their boat. I even had a jetski go over my lines and when I said I'm fishing the guy stopped over my lines and asked if I was okay, then on his way back he ran over my lines again, other then a 6 ft blacktip and the wonderful weather today was horrible

Try a less traveled piece of water. It's a battle you won't win and turns what would be a nice day, except for the wind, into a face reddening misadventure.

To answer your question, No, sadly most don't. They do it to each other too, the stinkpotters that is do it to each other too, not just to kayakers.
My posts are my opinion only.
