What Wind

Post by Manning »

Haven't seen many reports lately so I thought I would break the silence. On Monday the weather report said it was going to blow so I headed out to a place where I thought I could hide back in the mangrove islands. Wasn't blowing too bad going out, but coming back it had picked up to near 20 mph. There was one stretch that I had to cross to get back to the launch where it was rolling and white capping. Glad I had my Slayer rather than to old Ultimate. Fishing wasn't great, but there was enough to keep me busy. Managed a red, a couple snook, a very small trout and a couple of lady fish. Here are a couple of pictures.

Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.
