Docklight Snook

Post by SRQGator »

Took my boy out for some evening fishing yesterday. We were getting the skunk and the sun had set. I was not very pleased. School night or not, I decided WTH life is short and headed for some lights that have been working lately. Didn't take long to hook up and hand the rod off. He worked that fish like a pro—around the back of the boat, some drag zinging, then up to the front, kept the pressure on and got it boatside. Took a quick pic and headed home to take our licks. Worth it.

With the patented srggator non smile.

Starting early with the "fishing trumps Mommy's orders" lesson. Brave man but it is a life lesson he must learn.

These are some of life's great moments. Enjoy them.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

I'm surprised you could break away from Norm's sweet embrace long enough to check the forum.

Just sayin'.
