Today was the HCKAC club meeting and Kingfish were on the agenda. No problems sabikiing up big pinfish and bluerunners this morning but the large bait pods that were there pre coldfront were not as evident.
The conditions were absolutely gorgeous out there and it was great just relaxing waiting for a pinfish to get leveled.
At about 8:30 my nervous pin wasn't feeling to good anymore. No 40lb'r this time but fun none the less. It was a slow day out there but some fish were caught.
Thanks to all who came out

King on the agenda
lucky dog....that was the only kingfish in the water yesterday....I know you were expecting a report from Bill and I but unfortunately that huge flock of birds that you thought would produce some smokers for us were diving on a school of bait that was being pounded by "gigantic" ladyfish....I thought they were spanish macks.
I think the moving front had an effect on the fishing yesterday and I hope we have one more chance before they're totally gone.
