Okay, I know that this is not paddle fishing related, but thought some of you with older vehicles might be interested. I have a 2007 Acura MDX and the headlight covers have started to get hazed over in the past year or so. Consumer Reports said that the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit was the best of the ones they tested so I bought it. The kit contains everything you need to do the job other than a bucket and some water. It is a 5 step process. Steps 1 thru 3 are wet sanding the lens with 400, 1000 and 2000 grit paper respectively. Step 4 is a final sanding with a rubbing compound. Step 5 is re-coating the lens with a UV protective material. Probably took me about an hour to complete the process and believe me the headlights look like new. Here are photos of the process.
Before work started. Have masked off the area with the tape they provided.
After 400 grit wet sanding
After 1000 grit wet sanding
After 2000 grit wet sanding
After sanding with rubbing compound.
After applying new UV protective coating. Like magic they are new again!

Auto Zone. They did not have them in the store I went to so they ordered one on their web site and shipped it to me. They paid the shipping.
