Bed Extenders

Post by seeinred »

Can anyone recommend a cheap/effective one?

Maybe it's just me but I can't find it anywhere on Harbor Freight, I even searched up a link from past posts that came up with an "item cannot be found" message.

Thanks guys!

Try calling them. I tried the search function and could not find anything either.

New truck. :D

I called and spoke to two different people, both barely spoke any english, and didn't really seem to have any clue what a bed extender was or if they had any in stock.

Go to your local Harbor Frieght.

They discontinued them on their website, but the still carry them in stores.

Another place to check is Northern Tool. Not sure where the local one is, but I bet they have them.

Northern carries the Darby extender. By far a better extender but it's also $100. It will work as both an extender and in an upright position (the bow of the kayak on the truck roof).
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

I was at the Harbor Freight, Largo this morning and they had the bed extender for $19.99. If you have the Sunday coupon can get the magnet running running brake lights for $9.99.
