Thanks for the kind words. Now if I only had Snookfinatic talent at painting!!! Just this morning I put color on the carving, but I'm not loving the results. Well it's only my 3rd carving and everything is a learning process.
The art teacher at the school I work at wants me to do a photo journal . Starting with a clean block of wood and showing the progress after each work session. I'll post those shots as I go along.
Are you familiar with the expression more people get cut with a dull knife than sharp one. Well let me tell you folks I've cut myself with some really sharp knives doing these carvings :lol:
