Bald Eagle

Post by SRQGator »

I was paddling along the other day and heard a shriek that definitely got my attention. I turned around to see a pair of bald eagles up in the trees. One was nestled in the top of a pine, this one perched on look out. I included a few other shots from the trip.

Nice photos, Jay.

I like the placement of the bald eagle in the first photo.

The lighting on the snook is quite nice. I especially like the translucent pectoral fin. It almost looks like you used a flash fill, yet I see you didn't.

Nice action shot of the pelican leaving his perch. Nice and sharp. Too bad you didn't catch all of him in the frame.

Your last shot... I know that spot. Just a quarter mile north of where I work. The next time you plan on fishing that area, give me a call. If I'm not dead tired from work, I'll join you.

Nice shots of the Eagle. I see him quite often when I am out there.
