HOW Rod

Post by dunfly »

Here is my latest build, which was inspired by the Heroes on the Water program. Hopefully it can find a useful purpose.

The rod is a P844-W-MHX in white from Mudhole in Orlando. It is 7' long rated for a 8 - 15 lb line and a 1/4 to 5/8 oz lure weight. The handle is custom turned with a mix of cork, red burl, blue burl and composite cork. The reel seat is a painted red Fuji Deluxe from Mudhole. The guide set is an American Tackle Microwave System. Thread is blue with red trim. Mudhole waived shipping costs on the rod blank and materials.

The metalic red Heroes on the Water decal was provided by Golden Touch Decals at no charge.
