Will someone help me

Post by flatoutfishin »

Hi everyone,
I just came across this section of the forum and I have always thought about building my own rod but have no idea where to begin. Is anyone willing to show me in person? Are there classes available in Tampa? And where do you buy the supplies? Any help would be awesome, thanks so much.

If you want to drive down my way, i'll show you. I can help with parts/components as well. I'm in Bradenton (75 & SR 64).

Now Now let's not be petty about this. When you guys practice long enough I'll bring you to the jetties so you can catch a fish. Until then just keep practicing on the grass flats. Your not ready to fish structure yet.

Check with Bett's over in Largo. I think I remember something about a rod building club that meets there. I think the club is called Suncoast Rodcrafters.
