Articulated flies (work-in-progress)

Post by AndrewP »

Working on using articulation to get see if I can get a bit more movement when stripping the fly. Using this product: http://flymenfishingcompany.org/product ... ted-shank/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's what I've come up with so far. Popper design still needs some tweeks. I want to improve on shrinking the gap some without losing the movement, but I still think they will catch fish as-is. Thinking about other design possibilities as well .......

My Dad made some articulated flies many years ago. Looked neat in the water, caught some fish but they were a bitch to cast.
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley
