Fly rod holder

Post by bluebill »

I would like to find or make a holder for a fly rod that would be suitable for trolling a fly behind my kayak. Any ideas to references to manufacturers ?

Thank you, gentlemen. Someday I will repay you, unless of course I can't find you, or if I forget.

Thanks Paddlefish, I will look up the Scotty flyrod holder. I have used Scorry spin rod holders before

bluebill,

PM me your address and I'll snail mail you one. I don't troll and I try to avoid at all cost anything in front of me that my fly line might (WILL) wrap around.

I'll see if I have an extra base lying around. If not, you'll have to beg someone on here for one or purchase one. I believe they sell the bases separate.
