Emerson Point Trip

Post by NarcSgt »

Maiden voyage of the USS NarcSgt occurred on Sunday. Launched at Emerson Point. Glad I had the prop because the wind was a kicking. Caught 8 trout and had a great time.

Below is the Blue beast.....

Great waters in that area and you certainly have a teriffic boat to buck the wind with. Got to 'love' having reverse!!

Tried Emerson for the first time, pretty fancy automatic gate they got there. Opened a little after 6:30 this morning to our surprise. Nice launch at the end and a beautiful ride out to it. Found some happy mullet on an outside bar where my buddy lost snookzilla. We got into snook, jacks and trout on topwaters. The area got busy later in the morning just as the bite was died, lots of kayakers, waders and stinkpots.

ps. Nice ride, slayer propel right?
