Bahamas Bonefish

Post by bluebill »

Has anyone had recent experience fishing for bonefish in the Bahamas?

If so, which island?

I am considering Freeport, Grand Bahama Island mainly because of the amenities and activities available for the non-fishing part of my family.

Sam Root of Saltyshores might be the local authority on Bahamas bonefishing. He's likely traveling back from Salty Fly 2013 today.

Thanks, I have signed up with Saltyshores to follow their blog posts.

They had a recent post and photos of bonefish from Abaco, Bahamas.
