Todd, I was looking for that tissue picture. It truly shows his sense of humor. I had tears the first time I saw him wear that as I was laughing and now again as I miss my friend.

What about the pink bunny costume picture? That one is priceless.

Though I only met Mark a few times, he was a great person and knew his stuff about fishing.

May he rest in peace.

The world seems smaller and a little less bright without CooknFish in it. You will be sorely missed.

I did not know Mark well. Met and spent some time with him at PFTS events. Seemed like a great guy. A real loss to our paddle fishing community.

Rest in Peace Mark
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

When he lived on the Southside I used to see him quite a bit; he got me into kayaking and showed me the ropes on fishing from them. I had no clue what I was doing, but he was patient with my frequent stupid questions. Since then that knowledge has been passed along.

I know he's influenced quite a few people in the fishing community, but I feel lucky to have known him and considered him a friend.

Farewell...

This is a great loss for many. Mark was always smiling and willing to help others. I'm thankful that I knew him as a friend. RIP, CooknFish.

Very sad news indeed. What an incredible person. Mark is a great person of the paddle community that was always kind, helpful, funny, and an amazing angler. He always had a great spirit about him and truly an ambassador of the sport.
You will greatly missed my friend.
