I need to be standing. I can throw pretty good in waste deep water but do not think I could throw sitting in a kayak. I do know I can barely stand in a kayak because I have a slight balance problem with my ears. Would not attempt throwing a net while standing,

I can throw a net just about anywhere, but I don't think I could or would do from a seated position in the yak or standing in my model. Depending on the location and your target, it could equal getting your yak pretty nasty after a cast or two.
I have seen a short vid on YT of a guy casting from his stripped down yak.

I do carry the net in my yak if I am looking to catch and use finger mullet but I will wade after them if I have to.

My son stands up in his Mojo to throw a small mullet net, thankfully it's not a bait net. But he stands up all the time poling around the flats and fishing anyway. Being balance challenged, I don't stand.
