Re: Happy Holidays 2017, bring on 2018
Hi Krash, Happy New Year 2018 Yes, I used to love this kayak site and it helped me greatly when I was getting started kayak fishing in Tampa bay back about 10 years ago. BUT, I took if off of my desktop a year ago or more when it seemed to literally DIE. I went now just to see if the Destinations pa...

Re: July Heat and Tarpon
I am waiting for spring to hit the Matlacha and Pine Island flats because the motorboats are thick out there in the middle of the "tourist" season. If I do go I try to avoid them by staying in very close to the mangrove walls and in little cuts where they could run aground. I know, that is...

Re: Native Ultimate 12 ???
You got me thinking about the Native Ultimate so I reviewed their website and other online stuff. Then my original assessment came back to me. Regarding whether I could live with the Native Ultimate here around Pine Island, Charlotte Harbor and Matlacha. For my style of kayak fishing , I like to app...

Re: No kayak, but Peacock
Krash....thanks for the report and photos............. was this bank hoping along your home canal
Bass are slow here on the Cape Coral canals. I think the water is still too warm.
I need to go to a wedding in Miami on Nov 19th. Do you think the Miami peacocks will still be active then?

Re: PF is back...
Krash Thanks for the peacock update. I tried Golden Gate, Naples, at the big park two years ago just to see. And, I found peacocks just by walking the bank in the park just south of Golden Gate Blvd. It should be even better but I want to find a launch site for kayak launch away from that park as th...

Re: What the Hell Is Going On Here or Actually Not Going On
OK, so, if this forum does not disappear, then it remains a nice place for us good ole boys to share thoughts. A few years back there were some youngsters posting here and they were few but good fisherman. It would be nice to attract some younger fisherpersons back. I know that I kayak fish less oft...
