Takin a trrip down to Flamingo the first week of March. Anybody have some suggestions or tips on where to fish and where to aviod. Anybody ever fish this area in hernando county. Was driving around it today and it looks like an interesting place. Lots of saw grass and oyster beds. Wanted to try it but wasnt sure if it was a good place or not. Was also looking at weeki watchi river and jensen creek as well.

Yea gate closed no guard. Sign says 7you nature center at 9. Saw a couple people get buzzed in but i wasnt about to follow them in and get busted as a homeland security threat.

Fished it a bunch. Great launch you can head north and there are oyster bars or head south to the river.
